Allison Falin Finishes Kentucky Mini Marathon in 2:01
April 25th, 2010 10:19AM
Congratulations to Plan2Peak's Allsion Falin for her performance in the Kentucky Mini Marathon. Allsion finished the 13.3 mile race in a time of 2:01. The Louisville Kentucky course started hilly under tough conditions. Allsion just missed setting a PR for the distance but considering the conditions it was a great day. There were over 10,000 finishers and Allsion finished 124 out of 888 in her division and just missed the top 10% of all female finishers (742/6083). Great Race Allison.... (

Urusov Grabs another Rahway Win
April 18th, 2010 8:00AM
Plan2Peak's Alex Urusov followed up his Top 5 finish in the Readington TT yesterday with a win at Rahway today. Alex was aggressive from the start but the large pack had lots of legs to keep the group together. After repeated attempts Alex decided to set himself up for the final sprint. Concentrating on good position the rest of the race he came out of the last turn in the front 10 and followed wheels until he saw his opportunity open up. He sprinted for the Win. Great week Alex.... Good day at Readington for Plan2Peak Athletes
April 18th, 2010 8:59AM
The Readington Time Trial (5.5 miles) turned out to be a good day for some Plan2Peak athletes. Mark Cowin (Pro Pedals) set a PR and started to show the fitness we have seen in practice. Mark grabbed a top 10 finish in the 45+. Otto Sanchez (Pro Pedals) laid down a great time of setting a new PR and also grabbed a top 10 spot in the 35+ category. Alex Urusov (Propeller) continued his tear beating Otto in the 35+ category and finishing in the top 10. Ric Wolf (Foundation) came out from NYC and finished in the Top 20 of his 45+ category. We are checking to see if this performance was a PR. Great job gentlemen. The Big TT events of the season are on the horizon and you seem ready to peak.... (

April 13th, 2010 8:48AM
Congratulations go out to Plan2Peak's Abraham Soler (Foundation) for a stellar performance at the 2010 Cat 3 Tour of Battenkill. Abraham rode smart and was pushing it with the lead group on the hills, staying in good position all day and testing his early season form. He was in good position for the sprint and took 6th. Great Result Abraham. In the Cat 4 race Plan2Peak's Steve Magyera (Foundation) also had a good day. Near the end he let a group of 7 slip away on the hill. He sprinted it out with a good size group grabbing 12th place on the day.... (

UCDavis and Riffelmacher have great weekend in Reno
April 7th, 2010 8:40AM
Despite the frigid weather in Reno, Nevada the UC Davis team and Plan2Peak's Will Riffelmacher had a great weekend of racing. The 130 mile drive from Davis to Reno took the team almost 5hrs. They started the weekend with a wi in n the TTT on Saturday morning. Saturday afternoons' crit was in an office park near the Reno airport and was one of the windiest races Will had ever done. The race blew apart early, and he kept near the front. He got himself into a 3-man break with 8 laps to go and attacked solo for the win with 2 to go. Sunday's road race was on the same rolling course that will won on last year. The team sent one rider off early and Will followed two riders who bridged. Once together the small group rolled well for the 23mi out to the turn, then turned into a 30mph block headwind. The other riders blew up after about 10mi of hea... (
